The Fire Remains was built by a man who has sat in the room before.
Doug Kisgen spent more than fifteen years inside the country’s top peer-advisory organizations — as a chapter president, an area leader, and a national conference participant, alongside years in other executive advisory groups. He knows what a serious room of proven leaders looks like, because he has built and led them.
He founded The Fire Remains because none of those rooms — for everything they gave him — had much to say about the second half of life. And the best of them asked him to leave his faith at the door.
The Fire Remains is an organization of Catholic men in the second half of life who refuse to coast. It exists for one purpose: to help its members finish strong — in the years the world calls “winding down,” and TFR treats as the most consequential stretch of a man’s whole life.
